35th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Alumni Luncheon
On January 10th, 2019, Leadership Kentucky will host its Annual Luncheon and Flame of Excellence award presentation in the Woodford Reserve room at Kroger Field in Lexington, Ky beginning at 11:30 a.m.*
The Flame of Excellence Award is presented each year to someone of major influence in our Commonwealth. This year, Leadership Kentucky is proud to present the award to Dave Adkisson, President and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. With Dave, we are honoring an alum who not only is influential and transformative throughout our state, but with our own Leadership Kentucky program. Dave was part of the group which helped to launch the LKY initiative 35 years ago.
Additionally, we will honor the classes and founders of Leadership Kentucky and enjoy a tour of Kroger Field. This event will be the beginning of many anniversary commemorations throughout 2019. Lastly, in honor of the 35th Anniversary, Leadership Kentucky will be launching new outreach programs and initiatives. In response to the valuable feedback from the recent alumni survey, establishing Regional Councils is a top priority. This initiative will provide opportunities for alumni to gather, learn, and network beyond the LKY experience—in your own region.
*In coordination with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, our Annual Luncheon will be held on the same day as "Kentucky Chamber Day" and will allow plenty of time to attend that event at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center. Registration and Reception begin at 5 p.m. and the Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Make one trip to Lexington and attend two wonderful events! See you there.
