Leadership Kentucky Now Accepting Elevate 2019 Applications

FRANKFORT, Ky. (October 3, 2018) – Leadership Kentucky, one of the oldest and most prestigious statewide leadership development programs in the United States, is now accepting applications for the Elevate Kentucky Class of 2019.

The Elevate Kentucky program offers young professionals in-depth personal and professional development while fostering a better understanding of the strengths and challenges facing the Commonwealth. During each session, class members hear from thought-provoking Kentucky leaders, attend panel discussions and participate in experiential learning opportunities. These sessions provide participants the opportunity to self-assess and gain insight about their personal leadership abilities.

Elevate Kentucky is a three-session program taking place in Western, Eastern and Central Kentucky from April through June of 2019. Applications for the Class of 2019 will be available online until December 7, 2018 at leadershipky.org.

Elevate participants return to their companies with increased skills, knowledge and perspective. In addition to a new statewide professional network, millennial leaders now have the opportunity to be catalysts in their companies and communities to elevate the state of Kentucky.

Leadership Kentucky, founded in 1984 as a non-profit educational organization, brings together a selected group of people that possess a broad variety of leadership abilities, career accomplishments and volunteer activities to gain insight into complex issues facing the state. The Leadership Kentucky Foundation offers three unique programs: Leadership Kentucky, Elevate Kentucky (for young professionals) and New Executives to Kentucky (for senior level executives who have lived in the state for less than two years).
