We are continuing to accept NOMINATIONS for the Leadership Kentucky Class of 2018. Please click here to nominate a great person for next year's class! The session dates and details are below. Applications are open for another month, so please forward your nominations quickly to allow folks ample time to complete the application. Please keep in mind that Leadership Kentucky strives to truly represent our great Commonwealth by having applicants who reflect geographic, occupational and ethnic diversity.

The Selection Committee is completing its task of reviewing applicants for Elevate Kentucky. These names will be announced soon! Elevate sessions start in April in Owensboro.

  • BIll Jones (Class of 1987) awarded with Flame of Excellence (KY Forward)
  • Brad Smith (Class of 2006) and Jennifer Willis (Class of 2013) named to Greater Louisville Inc. Board of Directors. (Greater Louisville)
  • Theodore Kuster (Class of 2012) appointed as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 14th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky (Kentucky.gov)
  • Scott Jennings (Class of 2014) appointed a Resident Fellow for the spring semester at The Institute of Politics at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government (RunSwitch PR)
  • Brad Hall (Class of 2011) named Vice President of External Affairs of Appalachian Power.  Jacob Colley (Class of 2016) assumes economic development oversight and government relations for Kentucky Power. (The Lane Report)
  • Matt Snow (Class of 2016) awarded Young Leader of Western Kentucky (WPSD Local 6)
  • Toa Green (Class of 2016), owner of Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream, featured on Cooking Channel's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" voted "Most Popular." (The Cooking Channel)

Annual Luncheon Re-Cap

The Annual Luncheon was held at Keeneland in Lexington on January 4th. Bill Jones of US Bank, Class of 1987, was awarded with the Flame of Excellence. It was a great day filled with friends, a mock horse sale and food! Check out the highlights below. View more photos here.
